عند النفخ في الصور يبعث الله جميع الناس من قبورهم للحساب. ينال المؤمنون نعيم الجنة وسلامها، بينما يواجه الكافرون جزاء أعمالهم. وفي ذلك اليوم تشهد أعضاء الإنسان على ما قدمه في الدنيا.

تختم السورة ببيان أن الله الذي خلق الإنسان أول مرة قادر على إحيائه بعد موته. فكل شيء في هذا الكون بيده سبحانه، وإذا أراد شيئًا فإنما يقول له: كن فيكون. وإليه يرجع جميع الخلق للحساب والجزاء.
